What even happened to GM getting car out the door in 3 years?

I like the way you think
I've always said that if she would sell me the damn phone personally, I'd switch to T Mobile from Cingular in a heartbeat
Even though they work like crap in New England

Time will tell.

I guess people will have to combine what is in their "Sigma lite" and "Zeta" charts of future vehicles.

Anyway, FWIW: You'll see the 1st cars off of the so-called Sigma-lite/Zeta BEFORE 2010, with a very realistic chance of the 1st car in less than 30 months (early 2008 for the 2009 model year).
No word on exactly which cars, but this is essentially Chevrolet's baby. Saturn Sky came out of nowhere, & is a mere 6 months behind Solstice, so don't for a minute think another GM division can't have a car off this program just as fast or faster after the initial model appears.
I know, I know. There's going to be a ton of neighsayers, both in and outside the industry. But without giving away anything, the RWD models that were put on hold earlier this year were scheduled for model year 2008.
GM ISNT starting from scratch on their RWD vehicles (for a project as important as this, GM is going to have options), and the freeze on spending (meaning it was waaaaaay beyond the desktop stage) lasted less than 10 months.
Now, suddenly these cars are coming out 2 years late in 2010 at the earliest..... if we're lucky???
Gotta trust people (as in plural) who've gone to product meetings above all other sources, and give GM credit for having at least a luke-warm intellengence. As a previous GM basher, I'm confident they understand what needs to be done, and has the situation under control.
