So now its closer to 2 1/2 years, around late 05' or early 06, correct? But since everyone in here still thinks the Camaro is at the bottom of GM priorities, I guess we are still looking at 2007 at the earliest?

It's not so much Camaro being at the bottom of GM's list. If you make heaps of money from heaps of sales of mid size sedans that have been grossly ignored for years, have a sub compact chassis that dates back to Reagans 1st term, and are revamping high profit margin lines such as Cadillac, the relatively low profit low margin car like Camaro isn't going to be the 1st thing you're working on.

Take this as you want, but the great thing about Camaro is that it's a historic car, and a image car that's a great marketing device which will put a shine on the products that have been brought out. Being that Chevrolet's entire model revamping is winding up now (meaning 2006 once things clear the pipeline), well..... I think you can see where I'm going with this.

Man so much to read I figured id just toss my 2cents in beings I know about UAW contracts.......

As DarthXed said about the Lordstown plant. When a plant has a contract to build a car (F body) and they have rights to be the only builder of that car (as per their contract) then they have grounds to step on providing they are still making the product.Yes the St.Terese plants contract was still valid upon the death of the F bod (still is valid),For GM to get out of it would be to kill the car.If GM came out and said it will be producing a new Camaro while the contract is valid St.Terese can get ready to go back to work,BUT that wont happen.Whence the "GAG" order.
