Recent R&T had another blurb on the supercar, and it looks like they are seriously considering it again. That info is probably some 3 months old, since it came out just now, so don't ask me how up to date that is.

Well, Marko's car is over 1,200 rwhp through a TH400. The highest I've seen a stock bottom end 2jz engine live is the upper 900rwhp range.

Of course, once you get really fast in any car, you're going to have to build the entire engine. It's going to cost the same as any other car to get it into the 8's. When all of the modifications, meltdowns and rebuilds are added up, you're likely in 6 figures.
