Re: Mustang sales up 47%!!!

i think F-body and mustang buyers differ in that Mustang owners range in ages from early 20's to early '70's.most of this is due to it being more liveable and user friendly.the camaro +bird were always more of a younger generation car due to it being very low and harsh riding.I went for a 150 mile trip with my daughter recently and almost died sitting in that low camaro seat.My hip was aching. The mustang sits the driver up higher and at a more comfortable angle. That is where a new camaro WILL have to change. The first gen camaro's were more mustang like and the hinted at future camaro will have to be more liveable if it is to REALLY compete with Mustang.

Well.. I like how the F-bod's were more agressive looking and layed out.. Perhaps if they tweak it a little like the Vette (still agressive, but more comfortable)..

I wouldn't want it to be too upright like the Mustang.. (although, visibilty is a good thing to help drive the car fast ) Plus its something to differentiate itself from the Mustang, and other cars.. If I wanted something powerful, but more pratical, there's the GTO.. (and funny how that gets nailed for being too boring)

I rather would have the f-bod's a more agressive, and lower production # run car compared to the Mustang.... but I guess thats not where the money is..

I don't know if it is because I am relatively tall (6'3") with long legs, but I find my Firebird very comfortable on long trips.

F body and Mustang buyers seemed to be entirely different.
lol... hows that go, I'd rather push a <insert favorite model here> than drive a <insert dispised model here> any day.

I am only 6 foot tall, but I have never been uncomfortable in the car either.
