There's also a desert in South America where it's never rains, another good place to keep your F4 if you don't want the T-tops to leak.

The first car to have them was the 68 Corvette, you would think that GM by 1999 would have t-tops down to a fine science. I think the whole concept is a flawed idea.
The t-top car doesn't look as nice as a hardtop, but it doesn't mess with the lines too much on the 4th gens, unless you want to do a stripe. If you look at a 1990's 300ZX, they have a body color piece painted in so that the roof flows if you are looking at the side profile. On those cars, the t-tops look far more intergrated.

The 4th gens tops are actually pretty good next to the 3rd gen's, but even my T-top dribbles a little into the passenger seat as well as down the inside of the drivers window at the joint in car washes.
Not much, mind you, but enough to let itself be known.

Maybe GM's overly optimistic gas gauge readings are a deliberate sales tool.

I will not buy a Camaro with a panoramic sunroof. If they're going to charge me ~2g's for the top of my car to open up, I want a targa or t-tops. On a daily, that's fine, but for something I'll be auto-xing, I want a roof that is more open. Besides, there's no comparison between an over glorified sunroof and a targa.

If Ford really does do this, this is a slap in GM and Chevy's face.

How are they trashy its a cool option that not a whole lot of cars have ever had. Its a sensible option if you dont want the added weight of a drop top but want the option of haveing the wind in there face or haveing a roof over their head. If your gunna talk about trashy then you shouldnt have bought a camaro, since its renouned as the redneck car anyway.
