Shew. I sure don't want to get into the middle of the pissing contest, but I think the numbers can be looked at a bit differently.

Combined sales of 2004 and 2005 GTOs are indeed up ~75% for Jan/Feb 2005 over the sales of just 2004 GTOs in Jan/Feb 2004. However, if you look at the sales of 2005 GTOs in Jan/Feb 2005 vs 2004 GTOs in Jan/Feb, the numbers are quite different.

For example, Pontiac sold 606 2004 GTOs in Feb 2004. In Feb 2005, Pontiac sold 670 2005 GTOs (~10% increase in 2005 GTO sales over 2004 GTO sales).

IMHO, the real comparison will be when the 2004 models dry up.

Make of that whatever you will.

I figured you out many posts back Darth. I just love seeing you yet still backpeddle and do not even see this thread for what is is

No comment on the bet, I could care less actually Darth.

I'm the one dodging issues?

For the THIRD time... care to explain your case for bashing the GTO sales so much, if you are giving it a "pass" on the 1st 5 months due to low availability, putting us in May 04, then with sales at or above predictions for Sept 04 on...

Again, for the third time... this leaves your entire basis for an arguement on 3 months of sales.

I assume you can't think of a way out of this, and that's why you keep acting like a 4 year old with your tone... I think I know a certain other member you can hook up with and have some incredibly powerful conversations with...

"Darthy", "nuthugger", whatever... it's like you are afraid to address the points at hand, so you resort to borderline namecalling.

Hey Darth, since I've been coming here, you seem to be one of the most unbiased, level headed people here. Don't let this guy get to you. You can't win an argument with irrational people. Check out my sig.

Thanks. I appreciate that statement. I really do try to be as unbiased as one can be on a passionate subject like cars.

Agreed Darth....

This "nuthugger" namecalling spilled into another thread when I simply pointed out the facts. Dodging the truth and namecalling seem to be skills he has mastered...
