"The Judge" is back at GM...

In the true spirit of "The Judge", what if Pontiac made it what it was always intended to be....a cheap GTO.
Basic interior, cheaper wheels, cut out some other stuff.....let's call it a $25K car. It could compete head to head with Mustang GT.

Ford actually made a "stripper" Mustang between 1995 and 1998. In 1995 it was called the GTS. The other years it was replaced with the 248A package. Basically it was a Mustang V6 with the GT drivetrain. No power windows or lighted mirrors, etc...It would be nice if they brought this back. It was never advertised and thus never really sold.

The thing is, with the GTO bring rushed into production for U.S. standards, you can only get a "stripper" version so to speak. So a "Judge" to me would mean some styling "Q's" inside and out, like winged spoiler, hood scoop, and a little more toys in the interior. Ofcourse an increased price tag would come standard with a "Judge"...
Maybe this question would make another thread, but I wonder, will Pontiac return to NASCAR to promote its new GTO??

When the Judge is built SLP will be building it. What remains to be seen is if an agreement has been or can be reached between the two companies. Expect it to have scoops etc. ,more power and better handling -and a price to match. The important question is :will it have GM's blessing or GM's curse.
