Sacramento dragstrip (where the run took place) has been having trap speed issues for YEARS. NHRA had them change their setup several years ago due to trap speeds being 5-6mph too high. They moved the beams closer together, and now it's only off 3-4mph.

To anyone that thinks 115mph traps from a stock automatic GT is plausible?
Interesting. Do we have any timeslips with similar ETs from other drag strips? What are the trap speeds?

are you just parrotting information from other sites cuz i swear somebody else posted almost exactly the same thing on another board, but you conveniently left out the part that that was almost 20years ago.

Fact is, on the run that the mustang pulled the 115MPH trap speed, the L99 2010 Camaro (with long tubes and couple other boltons) it raced against ran a 110mph trap speed which doesnt sound off at all.

Additionally, the GT ran 114-115 in BOTH lanes that day, according to the owners of both cars. Make no mistake.....115 is definitely hard for me to swallow too, but to dismiss it out of hand may not be a wise move.

I have not seen any other A6 times. Hopefully we'll have more data soon.
