1994 Camaro lt1
Gentlemen, I just recently purchased a old ford with a 94 Camaro lt1 drive-train. The car has a ecm computer from what I believe is the 94 Camaro unit. Car runs great but I would like to get some readings from this computer. The 12 pin connector only has 3 wires attached. Black, white and
tan. the previous owner is unavailable for any info. The only markings on the
computer read "Delco" no white tags or other #s. I need to know where to start on this. Any assistance is surely appreciated. Thanks

Here is the 94/95 ALDL connector wiring diagram:

You can scan with an OBD-1 scanner, but some of them will not read it correctly. An older Auto Xray OBD-1 scanner will work best. Unlike the 1993 and earlier computers, you cannot scan them by shorting the pins in the ALDL connector, and flashing the codes on the SES light.
For the best scanning software, free download here:

You supply the harness.... Red Devil River or ALDLCable products work best.
The PCM part # for 1994/95 is: 16188051
