Plus, its a much better ET than the C&D test, and we must thus ignore it and instead, crow about the results in the slower magazine.

Apparently Evolution Performance has done some tuning, possibly exhaust work, and suspension work and are headed back to the track with the GT that put down 368rwhp.

That has to be the most vague mod list I have ever seen.

Definitely.

Here are the quotes:

Custom Tuning Our 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L 4V On The Dyno.........
Installing Our Ultimate Suspension Kit On Our 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L 4V...... Lots of things different compared to the 2005-2010 Models....... Good Thing we were Prepared...!
And finally on another forum they made a thread where they were talking about the differences in exhaust from 05-10 from the 2011. They were saying the aftermarket options for those stangs would not work on the 2011. They talked about what you would need to do to make the axle back systems work. So I can only assume they did exhaust work.

More info their loaded GT premium with a full tank of gas and driver weights in at 3,824 lbs.

Have to say the car has mods though so weight might not be accurate for a stock GT in that configuration with a driver of the same weight.

Unless you're a Ford guy on a GM forum, in which case you're required to do the opposite!

I dont know. I personally get the feeling that evo is hawking parts before the cars even arrive. I wont say I dont trust them but I wont put much stock in it.

They said their first run tonight was a 12.88 @ 111mph w/ a 2.06 60ft time.

As far as mods go they said this:

Not many changes tuning wise, still testing! Only suspension changes done is our ultimate suspension kit - upper and lower control arms, panhard bar and torque box braces! No more wheel hop!

Looks like on the ET Streets they ran a 12.49 @ 112.55 w/ a 1.80 60ft.

Not impressed by what they've done. Too rushed, and they haven't taken any time to learn to drive the car before tearing into it. It's gotten them a lot of attention though, and they are a business....

Torque boxes are where the lower control arm mounts to the frame correct? How the hell is Ford still have issues with them after all this time?
