Re: I give Chevy 8 more months.. how long u give em?
For some reason, Im not gunna listen to some marketing director, because like it was said, thats his job to cover Chevy's butt. I didnt like it when it came out, but it sure sounds like he is trying to fill the void.
Ill keep the faith.

Exactly what I was saying a few posts earlier.Camaro? Firebird? Chevelle? Insertherewhateverthenameisgoingtobe? As long as it fits the bill, I''m all for it. Think outside the box for once. Some people are too hung up on just a name.

Confirmation enough.

Take away the name and you've taken out a key identity and an integral part of the "camaro" that seperates it from every other coupe on the market.
Couldn't have said it better!

If we listened to our right brain all the time then we'd all be driving I4 Econo Cars. Nostolgia goes hand in hand with RWD V8 performance. It's all part of the "experience".

Guy you said it yourself in the not-so-distant past, would GM really be jumping through this many hoops to allow them to use the Camaro name again if they weren't going to do it? Unless there's a VERY and I mean VERY good reason for an 11th-hour switch, I can't see the Chevy sports coupe being named anything else.

i voted forever, but thats b/c my 68 is my first car.
as for a 20XX sports coupe, i dont care what its called as long as it fits the bill. hell, if they axed the chevy version and came out with a good Pontiac Phoenix, i'd buy that in a heartbeat! i like the 4th gen TA's better anyhow.
