Since Euro's inception, the Euro has been rising against USD. T think your interpretation of the exchange rate should be reversed...

1 Euro approx USD$1.35

quote from the link you gave:
The dollar was quoted at $1.3536 per euro in afternoon trading in New York

Well at least the Solstice is not a direct ripoff of the Opel.

Since GM owns both companies....how is it a rip-off?

One will be sold here....one won't.......99% on the general public will never know...or care.

Re: Hhhmmmmm...looks alot like.....

If the Sky gets the standard 4 banger, either a turbocharged or supercharged engine (via whatever means, perhaps a direct drop in from the Cobalt SS) for a "Sky Redline" might be what the doc should have ordered.

If it starts for $19,995, add $3500 for the redline package, then take off a $1000 or $2000 rebate and you could get a tiny little drop top with 210+hp. Cant complain considering it'd be one zippy little car!
