To get it here ? It will be built in the same plant the Solstice is in the USA Its the design thats Opel

Sweet looking car , I like it better than the Solstice . Dont get me wrong the Solstice is still hot imo , but Id prolly opt for the Saturn's edgyness over the soltice's elegance

Now I kinda really can't wait to see the rest of Satuns new lineup . Might Astra then WISELY replace the ION . Something like THIS would be perfect to add a bit of difference from the Cobalt SS , and that would do really well here . And it would be another outa the ballbark grandslam in the sport compact segment ( only if it were turbocharged though )

I thought the Sky was on a diffrent platform than the Solstice...I thought the Sky was mid engine?? looks like it...but maybee Im wrong...and what the heck it looks good..just build it..if its going for as much as the Solstice or miata then build it...some people might not like the Solstice and go for the sky..or vise sersa..either way if its a platform mate then its like Camaro Firebird..win win situation

anyone got specs of the Opel GT???

"If " it did make it over here , it would most certainly have a saturn badge on it as the Ion replacement . Its built off the same chassis as the Cobalt/Ion and has a turbocharged 2.0 ecotec .

Is the sky supposed to be out about the same time frame as the Solstice ?

27,000 pounds = $51,800!!

If GM will be making a good profit on the $20,000 Solstice, they will be cleaning up off the Opel.

Re: Hhhmmmmm...looks alot like.....

The Opel roadster probably costs more because of pedestrian saftey standards, as well as other crash and emissions testing, not to mention passing on the cost of shipping the car there.

And the Astra is NOT built off Delta. Its on a chassis similar, but not the same.

Holden Monaros cost $45,000+ in Australia, yet GTOs are shipped here and cost just $32,000 despite being the same car and having additional money spent on it for certification.
