Its because the Saturn Sky and Opel are the same cars, as will most Saturns in the future.

I hope so. Then maybe GM cars could have a differnt look, feel and a different perspective. Is the Opel = Saturn thing for sure?

That Opel is a great looking car. I really hope the Saturn looks that good. Minus well rebadge that because we cant get Opels anyways, so you wont be seeing a typical Poncho/Chevy rebadge job.

Great find, Doug!

Is it me, or is the Solstice going to look a little dull next to..... a Saturn?!

I dont know about "dull" Guy.
The Solstice has a smoothness and sexyness, where the Saturn has a little bit more chisled front facia.
Both are very attractive, if not the most attractive cars in GM's stable.

Re: Hhhmmmmm...looks alot like.....

So, we have a 170 horsepower 2 seater coupe selling for 27,000 euros?

I am afraid Solstice and Sky will not be our 20,000 dollar cars, I think more like 24 - 26 K range. But then, you'll have 1-2K rebates

Why would you say that? I think that its pretty much safe to say that the Solstice will start at 20k.

I remember when I first saw the Solstice concept, it was like one of the most bizarre/sexy cars I had ever seen. But now with all these other Kappa concepts and pics, it really doesn't even seem remotely near the edge anymore.

Re: Hhhmmmmm...looks alot like.....

If you squint your eyes in the Sky drawing and look at the pencil sketch in the lower right hand corner of the "Saturn Experience" ad....I don't think the Saturn is getting the C6 inspired side coves.....dangit!....I'm hoping I'm wrong about that.

Anyone think the Saturn will get the SC enigine option?

As far as price, I'd say with the current horrible exchange rate between the dollar and the Euro....and the fact that Opel probably is priced higher than a comparable Saturn/Pontiac....would explain the cost stated at $27k Euro.

I'll tell you, these Kappa cars will be a Sammy Sosa style home run!

Re: Hhhmmmmm...looks alot like.....

Current exchange rate is $1 US to $1.3548 Eu....so $27k Eu is actually UNDER $20k US!
