Many would argue what is better looking. I really don't like how the G6 looks. I actually prefer the Saturn Aura when compared to the Malibu and G6 on the outside.

I do like the G8 better. Wish it would come without hood scoops as well. They look a bit over done on the G8 in my opinion.

There are no 'e's in corporation.
As punishment, type "corporation" 100 times.

Sorry, but I've read 'corperation' too many times this afternoon, and I snapped!

In all honestly in the absence of another G8 like car I could see myself either getting a CTS-V or a Bimmer one day.

Thats the road I intend on taking as well. After I get tired of the TL I intend on trying to find a year or two old CTS-V or AMG Benz, but that won't be for a while yet.

It'll be old cars for me, there's just nothing left in new cars that I'd be willing to pay the premium for.

Sad.

Chevrolet could potentially get a sporty image with some work.

I disagree with the idea that it already had surpassed Pontiac. If you were to poll your average Joes on the street about Chevrolet they are thinking Silverado, Impala, or Malibu. Probably a good portion of people don't even know a Corvette is made by Chevrolet. Even so, if you look at enthusiasts for the Corvette by and large they are interested only in that car and not the rest of the mundane lineup. Corvette is really disparate from the image of the brand. Likewise with Camaro, although probably not the the same extent. The point is you could turn Chevrolet into what Pontiac was supposed to be product wise except called Chevrolet. However, the fact that you could get a Monte Carlo with a V8 driving the front wheels that just happened to be somewhat quick besides the whole half-assed nature of those cars does not make up for the droves of mass market completely unexciting cars coming from that brand. Even though it was four doors, the Grand Prix GXP was a much better performance package than the Monte SS.
