Yea there has been some talk of a V8 hipo version. Im not 100% certain what the status is of that program at the moment.

Of the seven new vehicles, the only ones that GM rolled out at an official intro were the subcompact triplets. The Buicks and Hummers were just dropped on the show floor with no fanfare, almost as if GM wasn't excited (or perhaps not interested in drawing a lot of negative attention from the kneejerkers by dropping a bigger engine into a Hummer).

Refreshed H2
The Super Buick twins
There are your seven "new" GM cars. Someone in the PR department deserves a merit badge for media spin.

Sorry about all the questions I am a bit just curious.
Supposedly, it's going to migrate to the new platform. Some day. A ways in the future...
Yes, it's still on GMT800. Keep in mind that it runs down its own line - AM General has a contract with GM to build the H2 at Mishawaka, and so it's not affected by the transition to GMT900.

Actually I don't know if you can verify this or not but just based on looks it appears to me that the H2 chassis and such shares more, proportions and overhangs, with the fullsize G vans than the pickups or SUVs. I don't know if anyone can substantiate this or not but that is just something that occurs to me every now and then when I see a G van or an H2.
