Is Velite going to be a reskinned Camaro or GTO with different components for luxury and be released the same time as its counterpart? Not trying to hijack the thread, I just was thinking what if its Velite but Camaro is similar dimensions and thats not until 09 as we all know.

I know it is way too soon... but the production version of the Volt would be awesome. A lot of people would jump all over that.

 

I don't know if this would qualify but perhaps the LS3 Corvette could be one, again I don't know if that would qualify as a NEW production vehicle. Just a thought. I hope the concepts a GTO or is that dead in the water these days.

 

The Velite name was evidently a clever name-play based on the Holden "VE" chassis and "lite" as in shorter version. The original production version was apparently intended to be the reborne Buick Riviera.

The Rivi got lost in the North American Zeta upheaval and revisions. It's still in the portfolio, but it's currently not in the pipeline, and with Cadillac getting a RWD coupe and Pontiac getting a coupe but also combining with Buick, it's pretty questionable if Buick has any coupe in it's near future.

 

What kind of info? Have you heard anything lately about them with a V8? How about updated interior.

 

I also highly doubt a Velite from Buick before a large Zeta sedan. C6's MCE would be nice, hope they touch up the interior since the Malibu totaly outclasses it.

Ooooo...that gave me chills. I like that name a LOT. Anyway, I guess I havent dont enough research to fully guess what will "probably" be there, but I can state what I would like to be there:

1. Corvette Zora (damn that sounds good)
2. Production Camaro (with some different versions including the SS, Z28, and RS)
3. Buick Velite (Buick totally needs this, I just hope the Super Lucerne has *****)
4. H4 (yeah, kick the Wrangler's ***!)
5. Caddy Twelve (anybody see the Autoweek this week? They say that the plans are in)
6. Caddy CTS-V or CTS coupe (leaning more torward the V, but V might be the coupe, so either or I guess)
7. Impala (god that thing is gonna be sweet if it is anything like they say its gonna be...after all, they are basing it off of my favorite Impala anyway)

Yeah, If I saw two of these seven, I would be a happy man.
