I think I read that when it cooled down they livernois one dynoed 613...

It made 601 at Livernois. Then the owner left and drove around town some and went to another dyno. That was when it put down 613.

I laughed.

You sure you don't have a 2014 GT500? I heard that one is coming with Manly rods and a Johnson crank from the factory, should be good for about 1200 HP, or 1500 once it's broken in.

Wow I was wrong. I guess Ford colluded with the SAE to certify the wrong power numbers for their engine.

Regardless, it is a very powerful and fast car. If only I was a Ford fan, they seem to cater to their enthusiasts better than GM does.

Great baseline numbers. I would probably equate the variety of different RWHP/Tq numbers more to different cars, conditions, miles and dynoes than Ford having underrated the SAE numbers.

That 2014 GT500 looks like a real beast... glad they got the flux capacitor working right.
