Nice looking quad doors ... and I'm serious about that.

Is that a retractable rear roof section? Hmm, that Nomad could be the best of all worlds with a V8 M6.

Remember this little photoshop excersize?

For those that are seeing this for the first time, its the F-body based Nomad with a Crispeylike roofline.

wouldn't mind if the rear quarter panels didn't look so monte carlo but thats not bad. i still prefer the "swoop" of Crispey's. his is more recognizable as a Camaro. i think that would make a great Chevy mate to the GTO(monte carlo replacement???), but i don't know if it really has that pony car look to it.

The rear quarter panels remind me of first gens...i didn't even think of the monte. I think the front grill would need some work for sure.

completely agree about the grill. IMO, i really think Crispy's has more presence than the photoshop one based on the nomad. just thinking out loud(i'v been waiting for a RWD monte since chevy built that one off 4th gen Camaro based one back in the 90s). i just think if the proportions were along the lines of the GTO, that would make a great monte or, , a new chevelle.

High volume car for the platform is taken care of... means producing a Camaro got a heck of a lot cheaper...?

Hope it looks nothing like that. At least that front end anyways. Thats got to be the ugliest front end design since the Aztek. ( I wasn't fond of the Nomand Concept either btw)

I'll say.....

It never ceases to amaze me, how much the bar can be lowered and still be accepted around here.

I agree, that is the ugliest "retro" front end they could possibly create.

I never saw that before but, now I see it, it reminds me more of all those whale-sized 50s crusiers... all it needs is some big old fins atop the rear quarters to complete the image. Yuck! That front end is truly vile as well.

BWAHAHAH!! I said the same thing...."looks like the front end could give a very close shave. Wonder if you can use it in the shower?"

Horrible. As someone said, C6 pulls off a perfect balance of new and old. You deffinatly know its a Vette, but you will not mistake it for any other gen.
I just dont like how the the 4th gens looked, so I hope they evolved HEAVILY from that.
