So theoretically speaking... after the design study is released to the public at NAIAS 06, it could feasibly be production ready soon? Theorettically speaking of course, not meaning any car in particular, we're just talking in general...

It's been tweaked enough. They know what it is going to look like, what lines it will draw from even if the show says something different. The NAIAS is just a tease at the next Camaro. Will it draw heavily from it? I have no idea, I've yet to see the concept. However WE'VE seen a very close version of the production Camaro whether "Red" admits it or not.

I want to see something similar, to what they've pulled off on the C6! That thing is ooozzing with heritage, without being.............the R-word IMO! That car is instantly recognizeable as a Corvette.

I have mixed feelings about that. But I am happy that at least we can look forward to a new Camaro fairly soon after too long of a wait since the last of the 4th gens came off the assembly line.
Seriously. If you guys want a new modern retro 69 Camaro, you can already buy one... er... have one built.

Ya know, if someone coughed up the old Chevy Nomad concept (NOT the Kappa based version), and Crispey's drawing and looked at them side by side...might be a bit interesting, methinks.

.... now what chassis was that Nomad based on??
