You start out by complaining that Millenium Yellow went from Corvette to every car in Chevy's lineup, then you say you want more choice. Your post confuses me.

There are colors in GM's lineup that stay exclusive to some cars. Electron Blue on the C5 is drop-dead gorgeous, I have seen one Camaro SS at a show custom painted in EB and it was unreal. If Chevy would've offered that color on the 2002 Camaro.....well, I might not have been able to resist the temptation of buying one. Sunset Orange Metallic (they call it something else now, right?) was originally ONLY available on the F-body if I recall correctly.

Currently I am leaning towards the BMW 5 series in a shade of blue depending on which model I would get. I really don't want to spend over 70k on a m5.

If I do end up with the CTS-v I would surely get the silver and NOT the black. I have had 2 black Camaros and that is enough black in my lifetime ;-)

What I'm saying is that I don't like seeing every GM car painted in a limited number of "corporate" colors. The return of the yellow Corvette was awsome, but when you see the same color on just about every wheezy 2-door GM car, something is lost. Mostly, it gets you thinking about all of those taxi cabs in NYC. That's when cool goes to deeply uncool.

In any case, I just don't understand why there as so few color choices for modern cars, or why there will be just 2 for the CTSv.

I wanted a huger orange corvette, a yellow Camaro and I want that new gray on the vettes to be on the CTSV. It looks like a polished gunmetal. Whats he name for this color?
