Aside from some resemblance to the BMW 1 Series profile, I don't see how the 130R looks like ANYTHING else on the road. How many small, upright 4 seat coupes with rear drive proportions are there?

I see it more as a modern-day interpretation of the Chevy Vega. They could offer it in three flavors: coupe (as shown), sedan and wagon.

I'd take one with the 3.6L DI V6 and 6spd manual.

The chassis may be different but I'll bet most buyers can't tell much difference between this, the fiesta, yaris, veloster, xD, etc...

I'm sure they would be much more receptive if we had any reason to believe it would get better than Sonic drivetrains.

EDIT: oh damn, my bad. I was referring to the 140.

So an updated 130R is going to be shown at the LA show. I wonder if they'll change the front end to follow the styling direction they are going with Chevy.

I like the 130, just needs different front end, however slap a lion badge on it and i'll consider picking it up.

140 pass.

Anthony, if the Code has any chance at seeing the light of day anywhere, it is going to have to be a global car. I would personally love to see a coupe and 2-door wagon version make production!

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit... that Red thing is gross... The silver one is a little better but looks to much like an Eclipse...

How anyone could like the 140 is beyond me. It's just an awful looking vehicle.

As far as I can see - they painted it gray and added an S to the end - Code 130RS

It will be interesting see how it transforms if it does make production with Chevrolet dumping the bar grill for the new tri-bar grill.

I like the 130R more and more. 2.0T with a 6 speed would make for a fun little car.
