Maybe the C6 is gonna look something like it.
I'd think they are referring to the 4 circular taillights...

The same thing was said about the all new 2000 Impala... they wanted to remind people of Corvette with it...

I think they probably were too.

Yup, the Impala's taillights remind me of a Corvette alright. *DOH*

Shoot! Ok, you guys were right... I stand corrected. It definitely looks more like a 4-door Camaro than a Chevelle!

To me the front end looks like a 70-73 camaro with the RS package. From the side more than the front that is. If this car is shortened, and given 2 doors I can really see it as the next camaro.

What platform is this on? Does it use existing parts or is it all new? How long would it take for chevy to put this into production if the desicion was made in the next 6 months?
Hi all Ive come to this site on and off for a while but would like to answer this question that bigsteve has asked.
Here is a LINK that is from Gmhightech and they say that the SS concept is based on the Trailblazers platform just like the SSR.You guys always jump to think that this is a Camaro when the R in SSR means roadster. This is a coupe of the SSR vehicle.

Missing something

I think it was Kizz that said it was missing something in that big grey panel in the back. Well, what I think it is missing is what the 70 Chevelle SS had in the back. Anyone remember the little black pad on the Chevelles bumper back then? I think they should do something like this, but make it out of Carbon Fibre with 2 white SS's on it. Maybe make it an option with some Carbon interior peices also. Just my thoughts on improving an already awsome car. I think this would look awsome anyone else agree?
