I would say the SS and the G6 are great concepts but the SS Fenders really should be reworked a little. The Problem is these cars are needed now not 3 or 4 years ahead...

Nice!!!!!!!!! why better than I thought it would be. Kind of looks like a Aston Martin V12 from the side, I think it would make a nice Camaro

I see a lot of camaro in that car. The front end looks a lot like an evolution of the ls1 4th gen. The overall flow of the car too, except it's too long. If I worked at GM, and IF I couldn't officially create a camaro program for whatever legal reason, but I was committed to making a new camaro after that reason expired, and I wanted my diehard performance customers to hang in there, I would put out a concept with a different name, maybe disguise it with the wrong number of doors or something. So, I hope there is some next gen camaro in this car, I really like it. I would agree with the few who said they should tone down the fat fenders a bit.

I agree. Move cut some of the back off the car.

To me the front end looks like a 70-73 camaro with the RS package. From the side more than the front that is. If this car is shortened, and given 2 doors I can really see it as the next camaro.

What platform is this on? Does it use existing parts or is it all new? How long would it take for chevy to put this into production if the desicion was made in the next 6 months?

It is a combination of C5 front suspension and C4 rear suspension. There's obviously no way this would go into production as-is and since it looks like Sigma is going to be a Caddy-only chassis (unfortunately) I have no idea what they could base it off of at this time.

Here check this out, I photoshoped it as what I would think it would look like as the next camaro and I had the 70-73 RS in mind while I was doing it. What do you think?

That looks good! I like it a lot!

GM execs take a look at that picture and put it into production. I guarantee theyd sell more of those than the next mustang if the mustang looks anything like that concept that was released a week or 2 ago.

Shave its a$$ and make it walk backwards. That is ugly. And has two too many doors.

I think it looks awesome but is missing a few things. For one there better be a ZL2 option for it and a couple spolier options. But overall is whatI've been waiting for and would consider buying one.

From GM's Media site: "The SS's muscular forms also hint at Chevy's ultimate performance car - the Corvette."

Maybe the C6 is gonna look something like it.

<sarcasm> I'm sure someone must have pointed out the mistake already, but whoever did the original post linked the Mazda RX8 instead. </sarcasm>

seriously, its a carbon copy. I don't much like the way the RX8 looks from the rear doors back (it just looks wrong and humpbacked), but at least it was an ORIGINAL concept!!! and more than a year old concept too.
