I think it's a tease of a new Camaro. I have a bit more of that "faith" now. :-D

It is one of the best looking cars I have seen in years. It looks awsome as a four door and I think it would look even better as a 2 door. I t looks like a 4 door Ferrari.. It gets my approval 100%

I like it but there's something in the back of my mind I don't like. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe its because it looks a little too much like the RX8. Beats me.

I agree, similar to RX8 (especially when photochopped to be a 2-door). Then again, most of us seemed to get over the C5 looking like an RX7, as was the initial reaction.

'Lo everyone! I'm new to the forum, but have been cruising through here for some time. I'm an amateur designer, and I've been working on my 5th gen Camaro concept ever since I heard the news of it's 'demise'. It's been just lately that I've been transferring my designs to the computer, and seeing what people think over the net. Just a couple days ago I finished my completed version of the 5th gen and sent it to Ted Krygier to post on his site. If anyone is interested in seeing it, e-mail me at jawitcombe@shaw.ca. The interesting thing is the uncanny resemblance to the SS! Interesting because a lot of my previous concepts for cars have uncanningly resembled cars that were later produced. (sometimes it really trips me out!!) I'm thinking that the SS is definitely a tease of the new Camaro, soon to be produced. I would be grateful for someone to set my pic up so that everyone on the forum could see it.

Thanks, Ja

My first reaction was, "Wow, that thing's cool!".
I really like the side profile action shot.
But I would like to see them tone down the fat fendered look.

Real nice sedan. Way better than that Ford 427.

My feelings exactly.

I also like the looks of the SS. A few things though: Hood seems a bit too long or fenders stick out a bit too much; I can't put my finger on it, but it looks like Snoopy for some reason. The rear looks better than I expected, but I would play around with different designs for that big gray panel. Something about that looks wrong. The main gauge cluster is a little odd but something about it is awesome; maybe the color, maybe the bifurcated nature. Look at the shifter.. wow.

I really like the looks of that Pontiac G6, more so than the SS. The front end is awesome with those silver recesses and sinister looking headlights. I wouldn't change a thing about that look.

I agree. I can see some Camaro cues in the front and rear fascias...but that's about it.

It's a nice sedan (looks like a cross between an RX8 and a Bugatti), but even if you deleted two doors and hacked a foot and half of length out of it....I just don't see a Camaro.

Sorry.

Yes it definetly is terrible looking. I like and will always stay with Yesterdays Chevrolet, because Today's and Tomorrow's is lousy.

DAMN! I love it, I think GM is finally getting it right! But it is probably going to cost more than a corvette or right up there when it is done. If it was affordably priced I would buy one for a 3rd car
