I still get goosebumps when I see that concept
Your right about that link though...I'm nearly convinced that these pics aren't of the actual Charger.

actual concept pic

Now why would they show the concept car and bring out something else?
As far as the blurred pic, most on Allpar have come to the conclusion that someone in marketing was told to do it and wouldn't get a pic of what the real car looked like. The second statement is still one that doesn't make sense to me. Why would Chrysler still parade around the 99 Charger is the real one wasn't even going to closely look like it?

I am not totally convinced that the sedans in those spy pictures are Chargers. There is still a chance that they could be "Magnum Sedans". You must remember that it has been talked about that Dodge Dealers were ticked that they got the Magnum wagon, but did not get any sedans like the 300. These sedans could have been done to fill that void.

Um, guys, go look at a pictur eof a dodge intrepid..... take a hammer to flatten up the front, and the rear, stuff it on an LX platform and that is what you have, those pictures.... the rear pillar is identical to current intrepids.

As an aside, if chrysler is able to keep it under wraps, why would they just leave those cars out there in public like that. $10 says it is the intrepid replacement, AND NOT the charger.

The Charger sedan "is" the Intrepid replacement. The reason why they are using the Charger name so they can use it NASCAR and use the historic "Charger" name to envoke a racing heritage that would help sell a 4-door RWD v6 & HEMI sedan as a Mustang competitor.
