I'm sure it's gonna be a very nice sedan, but you'd think people are gonna scream bloody murder over a 4-door Charger when you think of the way many reacted to a 2-door RWD, V8 GTO.

Unless they pull a switch on us almost everybody with some sort of credible inside source is saying...that's it. As I said on another board this tihng either had better be a lot cheaper than the 300C or a lot lighter than the 300C because if it's not nobody will buy it. They had a slight chance to sell them if it was a good looking car with the Charger name plate but an ugly four door...is going to tank badly.
Will say this though looks better with the front covered up.

You had to expect a sedan Magnum for fleet duty ...
Maybe it's a fool's hope, but with the positive reaction to the '99 concept, you have to imagine that Chrysler has a RWD coupe in the works. Chrysler seems to be pretty good at keeping cars under wraps the last couple of years.
Even if they call this one "Charger," I wouldn't give up hope. It seems to me, car manufacturers are much like movie studios. You don't see blockbuster hopefuls out the same weekend. So, Mustang first, then ...
It's about grabbing the spotlight for the segment.
