This! I LOVE the concept and rawness of the car, but the projected price point and positioning is a real head scratcher to me.

True, but Ford built what 300 Cobra Rs? Many of which probably sit in private collections.

Personally I think the Z/28 would have been a perfect competitor for the now defunct Boss 302.

 

Boss LS would be a closer match to the Z/28 I think if your looking to square off against an S-197 car since that was Ford's track car more so than the regular Boss Mustang.

IMO the regular Boss kinda straddles the 1LE and the Z/28, it just doesn't seem like a clean cut comparison like the SS and the GT or the ZL1 and the GT500

Also I'm curious to see what sort of numbers the Z/28 will sell in and if they put a dent in ZL1 sales?
