Here's the people actually putting it together.

But nothing's on their web site yet....

They will actually be sold (as bodies) through all the major Camaro Restoration parts dealers.

Funny thing about the price is, when they did the E-bay introduction asking what people thought about it and the price, they talked like the body shell, minus doors, front clip and decklid, would go for around $5,500.00....my guess is, the $12,000.00 price is "retail"...will probasbly sell for closer to $10k $11K..for everything except the front clip....which is still a great price. I've restored /built many rusty 1969 Camaros and would GLADLY pay this price to start fresh on a Pro Touring or Street Machine project.

I truly believe they will equip each of these with it's own VIN (said so in the article) and that'll answer any of the concerns about "fake" cars.

Besides, what would stop someone from replacing 90% of the sheetmetal on a rust bucket now? It's all available in pieces. We've argued that point for YEARS in the Camaro restoration hobby...

The Parts Place Inc, has been mentioning the 69 Camaro Convertible bodies in their eBay auctions for several months now. They are even working on a project using one of the new bodies as a starting point.

They are manufactured by Dynacorn International.
