Trying to save money on my system
Sorry about all the questions and asking of opinions guys, but I need some help finding the best buy on my car stereo equipment. I'm trying not to spend over $700, but I've found that to be almost impossible if I want quality equipment. I already have the dual 4 ohm kicker 10" L7 solo baric (old style), and am getting an Alpine deck (probably cda-7893). Now all I really need is an amp. I was thinking about getting the Alpine MRD-M500 which pushes 500 watts, but the cheapest I've found it was $345 shipped. Which amp would be a step down in quality (or almost as good) and under $300? I definitely don't want anything under 500watts, but I want it to put out some excellent sounding bass. Which other brands or models would you guys suggest? I have other things I have to buy so I'm trying to save as much money as I can but don't want to get a sh|tty amp that I'll be unhappy with. Also, which brand and models of cd decks are 2nd next to Alpine? Thanks
