Yes, it's Buickman, strange salesman from another state, who came to Flint with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal GM executives. Buickman, who can change the course of market share, bend incentives with his basic strategy; and who, disguised as Jim Dollinger, successful salesman for a Mid-Michigan dealership, fights a never ending battle for sales, profits, and the American Way (jobs, pensions, and benefits).

ROFLMAO.
I mean, a car salesman who thinks he understand business better than the head of a multi-billion dollar company. I'm sure wagoneer got to where he's at by being a total moron.
Re: The Big One GMAC Gone
While President of NAO, Wags lost share every year. When Wags took over as CEO, GM was worth $66 Billion, today it's $15 Billion. Our debt is junk, our share dropping like an anchor. Who's the moron? Anyone who sees that as success. The guy is a disgrace.

Raw sewage also "rises to the top."

And if he was personally responsible for a $51 billion loss, he would not be around anymore, regardless of how screwed up the decision makers at GM might be.
Re: The Big One GMAC Gone
Excuse me, but "I'm sure he did something right" is no defense. Look at the facts. This isn't me talking, it's the record. There is no accountability at GM. Perhaps Kerkorian will bring some.
Re: The Big One GMAC Gone
Im fully aware that’s not a very good defense, however, I also don't think that these facts that you keep including in your arguments are very good either. For every reason that you can come up with for why he needs to go, I'm going to blindly assume that there is something that you are ignoring that would refute your statements or facts.

You've turned the 5th Gen forum into a dumping ground for your propoganda, few (if any) have accepted it...maybe it's time to take your "cause" elsewhere and let us get back on topic, like, improving the product that you say is just fine.

Are you still out on the point working ups at a dealer or are you selling real estate and brokering cars?
No offense meant whatsoever, but the onslaught is a bit redundant.
Maybe you can sell your plan to another manufacturer and teach GM a lesson.
Maybe convince Kirk you have the answer and help him leverage the deal of the century...
If you are writing a book it could be the Cinderella story of monumental proportions...
I can always be mistaken, but it seems like it's the sound of one hand clapping Buickman.

Your plan is great for a marketing standpoint, however, marketing alone will not fix GM's issues. Something needs to be planned and executed to fix all the multiple and redundant layers of managment that causes product delays, and corners to be cut on quality products to make them cheap to fit a beancounters bottom line.
GM has problems from top to bottom, and mainly the biggest ones lie in the middle. The fat needs to be cut there IMHO.

Some finishing up to do with the press and catching up as GM of Suski, then to release more of The Plan. By now, I know who's who here and will gladly share the info with those who offer constructive criticism, agreeing or disagreeing. The antagonists can take a hike.

How's the plan working at Suski?
