Scuzzy - The Dead Topic Grave Digger.

god yes, I would buy that car in a split second, full MSRP if I could
afford it. *drool*

Hmm, wonder if I can get someone to fabricate some body
panels to give that look and have them fit on a thirdgen 91

It seems too busy. Tone it down a notch, and the overall appearance would look a lot cleaner.

The guy who did this picture went to the same art school I do now, he did this picture I think a couple years ago for an art contest the school holds, I cant remember what he placed but he did well, in the top 10 or 20 I think, my memory sux. Anyhow, the first one he did was blue sittin on the beach and I sent it to someone else here on the board that posted it, I cant believe noone seems to remember that one or have mentioned it, I have the original pic of it in the mag about the contest and I would post it to show but theres probably no point, its just blue instead of silver and wouldnt be as big and as clear of a picture as the silver one. But anyhow, I dont know if anyone has seen my design for the 5th gen, its retro, mine is a lot more realistic but sorda along the same lines as his, maybe theres something about that school that makes us design retro cars I dunno, I say that becuz I did mine around the same time he did his without having seen his, then when I got the magazine about the contest with his in it, I dont have to tell you I was pissed but still happy to see other people were likin the retro look, cuz I know theres only like 5 guys on the board who admit to likin retro, and even though retro won in the design contest nobody probably remembers on that other website, and more and more people seem to be doing retro designs, and most everybody loves the way the new concept Mustang looks, thats about all I can remember that I have to say about this right now.

It reprsents the 1969 model year well, but what about the other 32 of 35 years of Camaro evolution.

Re: 5th Gen Possibility???

i think they need to stop making retro vehicles. give the car a whole new look, something that hasn't been done and not profiled to look like something did 30 years ago. the cars today don't look good "retroed" like the cars used to be, they are all fiberglass and lightweight metals. old muscle cars are all solid metal!

i say give this a look a hell of a lot more agressive than the 98+ SS's and give it something in the body style, a little different than those.

Re: 5th Gen Possibility???

For the love of....

For the 1,267,357th time... I don't want a retro 1st gen Camaro. The 5th gen Camaro needs to be evolutionary yet tied to the Camaro's heritage... but on no certain terms should it ever be retro.

Please let it die.
