I think that car looks like a frankenstein, with many disparate cars hacked together into one unflowing mass. Ted could do better with his drawing hand tied behind his back! The entire roof in particular is awful.

I would be terribly dissapointed if thats what the Camaro turned out to be.

A good design should flow together from front to back, from top to side. Every part should make sense to the whole car, and look good from any angle.

On a 1 to 10, I give this a 1.

I can see where some would say it has too many pieces thrown together, but I like the general shape and attitude. The rear especially looks like the '60s Corvettes. I'd probably drop the third-gen-inspired hood vents first.

I'm with Reno on this one. Too much of a mish-mash of different past designs.
A car should carry your eye smoothly from front to back, top to bottom. This design is like running into a brick wall.
There seems to be many themes to this car; you'll be in one of them, then all of a sudden, there's a totally different one with no continuity at all thru the whole design.
The design does not flow very well.
Resharpen the pencils and try again.

Thumbs down

I dont like it...way too busy. If i wanted busy i'd buy a 1960 caddilac. Why do we need all these eye candy with the scoops and inlets which would be fake anyway. Keep the design simple and attractive thats what we have the aftermarket for. Look at design;s by Aston Martin and Jaguar....very clean and very sexy, million times better then this pontiac body cladded-monster......just my 2cents

I like the look a lot. But one question, where are the headlights?

They are hideaway headlights, like the 69 Camaro SS/RS package.

hahahaaahhaa
Thanks for the compliment.

As for the picture in question:
It does seem to be a mish-mash of different ideas, all strewn together in a 1st gen bodystyle.
Its not bad but it does looks a bit demonic (the headlights, or lack therof).

Time for me to get crakin on some new renderings.

Guys, I don't think it's that bad. Of course it's over-the-top. It's a concept! Fake scoops need to go. I want NO FAKE SCOOPS, GUAGES, or anything else on a 5th gen that does nothing more than clutter up the design or make it "appear" more aggressive than it really is. Just another reason why I don't like the current Stang, I'm more of a substance over style kind of guy.
