No thanks. I'll take mine much closer to stock appearing. 500 HP is nice....but that doesn't show up in pictures.

the only one acting like a kid with a ballcap turned backwards is you.

A little over the top. What Bob said (his latter paragraph)
I like the hood, but bumper covers (both front and rear) are too much. It could be optional like Saleen with its body kits, but no way standard equipment.

The rumors flying around about 3-valve heads ringing any bells?
If the heads are a LOT bigger than LS1/LS2/LS6 heads this is then a solid indication of what the LS7 motor is going to be packing. Futhermore, by looking at the MAF, intake and throttle body you can get a good idea of what would have to be done BY AN OEM to support the 500hp power level.
See, GM isn't generally going to half-*** an engine installation, even on a one-off car - especially if the car is going to be given to the press for a round of beatings. If the car needs a bigger throttle body to support that level of power, GM engineers will march on over to the parts bin and grab... oh... maybe the throttle body from a 2006 LS7. And golly gee, having an LS6 style intake choke the motor off wouldn't be a good idea either, would it? So... maybe we'll grab a prototype of the intake for the LS7 there too... Oh yeah, and one of the limiting factors in truly outrageous horsepower LS1/LS6 is the MAF not being able to read super-high airflow numbers...
And there you have the difference between an OEM and "Joe's House of Hacked Up Racing Engines"... GM will do it right for a much broader spectrum of requirements, and thereby information can be gathered.
I'm going to go look at the damned thing myself tonight.

it may come down to personal preference, but really, i dont see anything about that GTO that makes it look like a riced out civic.
