You're right.

But that's where Z284ever's argument is flawed. But you cannot make a SRA ride better than an IRS. Physically, not possible.

The Camaro's stiff chassis, ride, handling and power are still very good.

The Camaro can't be a loser to a car that hasn't even been released or driven in anger. Let's wait and see.

But I can't comment as I haven't sampled the Mustang or Camaro, it''s just that every 'traditional' American car has its flaws and the Mustang's happens to be its humble ride.

Anyway, you only concern yourself with weight statistics, that's your only measure for everything.

Well, considering that you've neither driven a Mustang nor a Camaro how "trustworthy" are your comments?

Just asking, because your comments are so bold and your face, but are based on nothing more than your own biased opinion, without qualification.

What arguments? I never said anything about ride or IRS or SRA or any of that.....

Well that aside, based on the data available now it is likely that the 2011 Mustang will indeed perform better by most objective measures. Don't know about the ride quality, we will have to wait and see. I do agree that usually an IRS should ride a little more comfortable than solid axle on uneven roads (at least those where the left and right are uneven). But there are so many other factors that go into ride quality that it is too soon to say.

With something like acceleration on the other hand, if you know the power, the mass, and have a good idea about the gearing then it is a little easier to predict.

Repeat again, just in case you are hard of hearing...

Camaro will still be the better car for many... is all I'm saying. Nothing you say will change that basic fact.

Camaro will feel better under real world driving (i.e. streets). I'm sure if you take your SRA Mustang around bumpy circuits, its manners might be left wanting.

It's not all doom and gloom as your statement makes out.

Are you saying that the Mustang GT will not outperform a Camaro SS?

Let me see if I get this right...........

You are arguing that a car that you have never driven, has a better ride and handling than another car that you have never driven............... which thus means that Charlies statement on the 2011 Mustang "The Mustang GT will outperform the Camaro SS in every way you'd want to measure it. Acceleration, handling, braking, fuel economy - all of it," is false?

All of this, when Charlie has driven a current Camaro SS, and driven a 2010 Mustang GT, which doesn't even handle as well as the 2011 is supposed to.

So, you are basing your arguement on what?? Crystal ball?? Psychic?? Taro cards?? ESP??

All of the woulda, coulda, shoulda, might, do not mean anything, when you have never driven the cars. I have not driven them back to back, thus, I rely on people who's opinion I would trust............. such as Charlie, for feedback. He has the same criteria for handling, as I do. Thus, his feedback is valuable to me........... and he has driven the cars.

If ride is now the important criteria in sporty coupes, might I suggest something a bit easier on the kidneys. Buicks come to mind??

Well it's better than anything you've done, Ford fan.

At least I've driven a VE chassis. Charlie has only pretended to... like the time he stated he thought Camaro was actually better than the G8 but only to do an about face on his experience soon after. This does not suggest to me he knows what he is talking about. Even GM don't take any notice of Charlie despite his 'formal' interviews with GM, what does that tell ya?

You've only driven a sporty 4400 lb Taurus and yet you come here throwing stones... right on cue as usual. Stop your Ford flag waving, it's getting too old and boring, now. Take a few lessons from bossco. He may be a Ford fan but he doesn't shove it in your face every post like you do old lady.

Let's wait and see, shall we. You really are just a stats man, hey.

You have very little idea what makes owners love their cars, do ya? It's the little attributes that don't tell the whole story.

Let me let you in on another secret. Camaro is outselling the Mustang, in case you believe the car is an absolute failure. Is it out-selliing it only because of its superior straightline performance? Somehow, I don't think so.

As we've beaten to death before, maybe try understanding why owners like the 5G so much instead of taking every opportunity in every thread to damn it.

I didn't shove anything Ford in anyones face. You are basically calling Charlie a liar. That is what I have issue with. Frankly, I could care less if you like the Mustang or not............ nor do I really care if it is faster than the Camaro. I am all about the handling.

You have a very condescending way of talking, and frankly, it is not appreciated. I realize that this may just be my opinion, but you are allowed your poor opinion of me, also. However, the "old lady" jab, is just wrong.

If you have a problem with my posts, then don't read them. It's not like I post all that often.

Oh dear. I upset you because I recited stories that Charlie himself quoted here... followed by his own contradictions? Is that correct? How does that make me a liar?

Go see a qualified psychiatrist would ya?

Ummm, you drive a Toyota...don't you?

I mean really, I don't get the personal attacks. You seem to go to them pretty quickly and pretty often, as if you have no other way to defend your opinion.

There's really no reason for it.

It doesn't matter what I own. It doesn't even matter what you own.

You know that the comments that you make are open to criticism. If you learned to accept as much criticism as you give, you'd be a more understanding person... but you seem to struggle more than most.
