An Aura wagon? When they will have the Astra what is the purpose of an Aura wagon? I can't imagine it'd be that much larger.

The Astra is a compact car. It compares in size to the Chevy Aveo. The Aura is a midsize car thats over 20 inches longer than the Astra, did you look at the link to pics on the first page? An Astra wagon would be smaller than a Vibe wagon. If gas hits the $3.40 a gallon this spring/summer like the EIA is predicting wagons might become quite popular. Theres also the 252hp/six speed that the astra doesn't offer.

The gas swilling magnum was a bad example, we checked out one and it had no space in the back. The sloped roof looked cool but it completely killed the cargo area. The rear opening is only about 18 inches. Plus the magnums RWD raised the cargo floor quite a bit. I bet an Aura/Malibu would have 50% more cubic feet behind the rear seat even though is 6 inches shorter in overall length. The aura also handles better, its faster and gets two more mpg. Thats a win/win/win.
