Wheel spacers

Ok guys...I may get linched for asking this.....I recently bought ZO6 18s and I dont care for the offset. The offset is 56mm and I was hopin it would be alright. I originally wanted 50 mm offset but I couldnt pass up this deal. Would 1/4 inch wheel spacers adversely affect anything? I hate to use spacers but Im gettin kinda desperate as I look at these wheels.........Its honestly not that bad but not what I wanted.
If I shouldnt use 1/4" spacers what is the most I could go without hurting anything.......Any info is appreciated
thanks.......Nate

I'm not an expert on this subject by any means, but by using spacers, you're altering the geometric parameters of your wheels. It could damage your bearings prematurely for one.

I understand that point but it wouldnt be any different than using the correct offset....Im not going extreme ...just to an offset like ZR1 wheels. The thing Im worried about most is the wheel studs...will they be long enough for the spacers and wheels?
1/4 inch spacers at the most

You would need longer studs, and it wouldn't be recommended.

But if you must have the wheel studs, ask Summit about their ARP 100-7708 studs.
