Re: Sneak peek of what I'm working on{PICS}
Yea I was hopin to get that thread more focused on the appearance mods of some of the cars but hey whatever. I most likely won't start back on the car til Sunday I think I'll start running wires for the sound system and maybe put the door panels back on. I'll see what else I can get done and try to post more pics. I'll admit the wire harness is intimidating but I need to man up and get it over with.

I've been living in a bubble lately.. I thought I was the only OCD fool modding the hell out of body parts.. I fall asleep at night thinking about how to make this piece, mod that piece, etc..
I wonder how flexible the Poly-U filler is, and if it'll crack, long term? Do you think yours'll hold up after a couple months of pushing into the wind? (It's Eff'n great craftsmanship, BTW- I was just thinking out loud..) I thought about trying this myself, but I have a long list of other skills I need to teach myself first.

The way the bumper is built the back side is melted together as one piece and the front is poly u which is the same material as the lt1 stock bumper, the ls1 bumper is made of a different plastic I've driven maybe 3000 miles and before putting it on did some flex tests and it seems to be pretty sturdy but only time will tell.

I believe you opened a can of worms, once you started being "creative" and put it out there for all to see you just opened my mind to all the possibilities. Now I have a list of parts the NEED to be modded thanks alot...

Mine's a pile of parts and dreams at the moment..

I'm going to be prepping the engine bay tomorrow I'll take some pics so you can see how the radiator is in there.
I've been under the weather this past week but I managed to suck it up and get a few things done...
Cut up bracket for alternator relocation, gonna clean it up and paint it-
Painted the supercharger and brackets
Went from 3.33 to 2.75 pulley, it might seem excessive but I have plans that'll make it worth doing.

Re: Sneak peek of what I'm working on{PICS}
As you requested...
On the bottom its just 2 brackets (pieces of aluminum) bolted on the frame to hold the radiator up so it stands straight and on the top, the cross section is cut out just to the edge and a piece of steel welded on top of the gap as seen in earlier pics

Here's a lil softcore for ya...
I finished the bracket for the alternator and painted it along with the valve covers which I may have to do over because I have a run in one of them.
