The Quest for wheels drives on...

Hey Guys.

I was looking at Smoothie II's for my SS. I'm now worried that they're going to be heavier then the stock SS wheels. What recommendations do you have for five-spock light weight wheels? I'm still trying decide between 17x10's or 18x10's. I'll lose traction with the 18's but I think 18's look the best with out a lower body kit.

Thanks!

If you want lightweight, avoid chrome at all costs.

I'm looking for five spokes, not five Spocks.

I don't know how much either weighs, but if you want the wheels then go for it. Don't let your decision be dictated by whether or not the smoothies weigh a few more pounds than the stock wheels. They will look a whole lot better than the stockers, so the small weight difference(if they're even heavier) isn't a big deal.

Are u reffering about 18's as a problem for use at the track or traction on the street in general if you end up buying them..

I was going to say that if you were talking about traction at the track, just get some salad shooters for the track or something
