Painted Engine Bay

Hey guys, waiting for the motor for my project car so I decided to rattle can the engine bay. I'm still not completely done, but it's not going to change really. Just have to touch up a few spots and then clear it.

Thanks, I never took the time to do it on my daily driver either, but figured what the hell on this one. I'll be interested to see how long it actually holds up and looks nice or if those rattle can clear coats actually do turn yellowish after some time under the hood.

That turned out really good, something I really need to do when I get the motor yanked out.

Nice, what kind of paint did you use? I got good results with Dupli-color ceramic engine enamel.

On my previous white Camaro I used white epoxy and it turned yellow with age and the finish was never very smooth.

I used Duplicolor as well. The only problem I had, and I'm not sure if I'm going to try and fix it, is the back corners. It's hard to get back there very well and get a good coat of paint, plus it dries so quickly that if you aren't quick you will get overspray on the paint after it has gotten tacky and it will give a "hairy" look.
