Painted Engine Bay
Hey guys, waiting for the motor for my project car so I decided to rattle can the engine bay. I'm still not completely done, but it's not going to change really. Just have to touch up a few spots and then clear it.

looks good man, i really wish i had taken the time to do that when i had my motor out

Thanks, I never took the time to do it on my daily driver either, but figured what the hell on this one. I'll be interested to see how long it actually holds up and looks nice or if those rattle can clear coats actually do turn yellowish after some time under the hood.

that looks really good, did you use the clear coat ?
|
wow that came out awesome
|
That turned out really good, something I really need to do when I get the motor yanked out.

Nice, what kind of paint did you use? I got good results with Dupli-color ceramic engine enamel.
On my previous white Camaro I used white epoxy and it turned yellow with age and the finish was never very smooth. |
