he could make it a lt1 SS clone .. otherwise but a 98+ v6 and then do it much cheaper.. I think it would be kinda cool if he does put a blower on it cause then it could be as fast as a SS but still get good gas milage like a v6

disregaurd the fact that i own an lt1 ss because that's not why im posting, but if you put a blower on a 3.4 (correct me of im wrong) but the lt1 would still win by a good bit...the 3.8 may be a different story because its a little better platform to start on and i think it might respond better to a blower....lets not get carried away here he said he's gonna get a Z now

The one turbo 3.4 that I know of is putting down 336rwhp and 397 rwtq from the old T04 turbo. The new T61 at only 5 psi of boost it made 290 rwhp and 373 rwtq from the internally stock 3.4L. You can do a search for Tiago and check out his webpage. I do believe that should take care of most lightly modded LT1's

nikkev, does the turbo make the hp/tq curves very peaky? I know the peak power of a turbo 3.4L is that of a modded LT1/stock LS1, but I'm assuming that the LT1/LS1 would still be faster because of the area under the curve.

Check out the site where you can buy the turbo. The best ET he has I think is a 13.5 with boost problems.
