Since you are clearly but a child I will not even begin to explain how half baked your plan is. However 300hp from your 3.4L "supercharged" engine is not going to happen. Let's say you somehow do it. What tranny you going to install? So you are going to: install a whole new front end, supercharger, new tranny, fix the oil pressure, rims, headers, shift kit, and repair rear quarter panel for an old camaro with 117K miles?

... and I thought putting a 5 speed in my firebird was me being absurd.

Swap it.

Seriously man - regardless of what you do - you are only gonna get so far with the 3.4L V6. It just isn't that great of an engine. You can supercharge it, give it a big shot of N20, bore it a little more (if that's even possible), have the heads done, get a custom cam made....you just ain't gonna see a big return from it. It came from the facotry with as much as somebody should really expect to see from it - its just not worth building.

I don't understand WHY you would want to do all the stuff you have mentioned and not at least just stick an LT1 under the hood, but do as you wish.

I have an idea!! Sell your v-6. If an L-S1 is to expensive then buy an LT-1 car. All this stuff you want to do to your v-6 is NOT COST EFFICTIVE! It would be cheaper to buy a different car with the stuff already done to it. Its kinda like when people want to paint their car a different color. Its more cost effective to buy a car the color you want.

For god sakes don't put SS badging on a v-6. If you do this then i look at you as I look at every other "I have a honda and its fast" guy out there.

This is my personal opinion on this matter. Do what you want but take this into consideration before you blow all your money. It doesn't affect me one way or the other, only you.

Yep, that v6 engine isn't gonna go very far. They put those things in grand ams and cavilers
<sp?>, they aren't made for high performance. just drop a lt1 in it, you can find em cheap. You could build a LT1 to be faster than your "dream" v6 all fixed up, with the same amount of money.

The only thing you would have to change is your entire CAR ...

I've actually been looking for a S/C 3.4L, I'll trade you straight out, then you can take the front clip off my car swap it with 93-97 front end, sell the LS1 on ebay because your cousin said so, then you build a 3.8L S/C to put under the hood, and after all that you'll still have a VIN # that says you have an SS

Seriously buddy, sell the car save some money and buy an LT1....instead of you and your cousin pipe dreaming.....by the way can you send me some of what your cousin is smoking

Can you please put a period(or two) in your sentences Keithy. The hardest part of this thread has been trying to read your posts Shop around a little more.....you can do better than $7900 for a 6 year old Z28. So, are you actually ditching the 3.4L SS clone idea?

p.s You took your bullets like a man in this thread.

He's probably sitting back and laughing his butt off.

"I really got them going, S/C V6, front end swap, oh man am I hysterical"
