GTS headlight covers

Have any of you guys used the GTS headlight covers I found a pair on Ebay and I think I am going to buy them. I have seen covers on the headlights of the 93 Z's and they look good I just want to make sure I am buying the right ones

You might want to try the appearance section.

they're pretty nice, but i like the AVS (auto vent shade) ones better, because of the way they mount. with the gts's you have to mount two brackets (that means screwing them in) in each headlight recess... not too cool if you ask me.

I would try AVS first.

Aren't the avs the bubble looking ones? I bought a pair of those on recommendation one time, but I couldn't really tell what they looked like in the small picture provided on the site. When I got them and tried to put them on my car, I couldn't belive how rediculous they looked!

The GTS ones look 100% better than the bubble ones.

How do the AVS covers mount?

Front- there is a tab that goes under the hood and two small velcro pieces that hold the bottom of it. (much better than drilling holes if you ask me.)

Back- the top part "hooks" on to the top of the tail light, and two small velcro pieces hold the bottom.

they look flush and clean. if you ask ME.

You do not have to drill holes with the GTS ones, you can choose that option if you want but they mount with 3M tape thats included already on the brackets!!! The GTS ones look a 1000000x better then the AVS ones, the avs looks like a bubble,i bought those and had to return them!!! Its just an opinion but check out my sig for pics i have the gts clear ones only mounted with the 3M tape and they stay on just fine even at over a 100mph.

he's right, I forgot about that. when i had my 93, it came with them already on, and they were screwed in. then I had to buy another pair because someone stole one, and I just screwed them into the same spot.... but i couldve just stuck them on.

the GTS ones take a minute of preparation to mount everything and get it all in the right place, and sometimes the hard velcro doesn't want to snap in right and tight, but they look good too. they fit flush INSIDE the opening, where the AVS ones lay just on the outer edge.

I definitely suggest the avs tail light covers though, they fit perfectly.

by the way peter, your car looks very nice. did the hood give you some fitment problems with the light covers? I am sure they could be trimmed to fit your hood better.
thumbs up.

there is a pic in my sig , under camaro a close up of clear covers, i have had all 3 types, with blackouts i found myself taking them off for night driving which got old real quick, the carbon fiber look alright but still is dark at night. i have both a set of black ones and cb fiber , that i dont use, if you want i can look for the brackets for them and sell em to ya.
