Fuel experts inside, tell me if this is normal.
Fuel experts inside, tell me if this is normal.
I have a 396 stroker, with a large camshaft. I also have a intank Holley fuel pump. Anyways the fuel pressure is set @ 38psi. When I slightly give throttle, the fuel pressure will go down to 32psi. At wot the fuel pressure goes back up to 38psi and holds there. Is this normal, or is my fuel pump laying down. Thanks for any info.
The fuel pressure is set at 38psi with or without vacuum compensation? What kind of fuel pressure regulator? What does the balance of the system look like? Since you didn't post in LT1 Tech, 3rd Gen Tech, or some other appropriate forum, can we assume you have something more complex?
