...i have an 86, 305 and it constantly turns off at a stop light. I already changed the plugs and wires, PCV valve, air filters and i removed some of that rust off the battery terminals and anything that requires a better electrical connection. It runs a bit better but it still stalls at the light. The battery gauge reads at 13 and at times it drops to the line right before hitting the red. Does someone have the same problem or have heard of anything like this?........i appreciate the help!......

 

If you have TBI fuel injection. I had a simular problem with my 89 a while back. Look at the IAC (idle air control) value. I can't rembier how to check it, look in a repair manual if you got one. This is just a posablilty though, there are a lot of things that a engine die on ya.
