Sounds good. Did you happen to read the HSR story in GMHTP mag from last year. They did a 5-page story on swapping one into their IROC. They managed to hit the mid 12's or so with a flat tappet cam (it was an '85 IROC) with 218/228 duration and SLP runners on a fully ported plenum and lower.

Dirt Reynolds- I read that article too. I think that will wake the top end up a bunch especially with the cam I'm running.

Update: New best 13.46@103.5 with a 2.06 60ft

Nice times - looks like you lost a few MPH up top though. What do you figure happened there?

Dirt Reynolds-Thanks, I ran the best time on the least mph. I also had to baby it through 1st to keep traction, it would start spinning after the 60' mark. (track prep sucked) I was running 104.5 mph most of the day.

I wonder if you can nail a 12.90 out of that combo - have you decided on a converter yet? That would be amazing.

I'm hoping to eek out a 12.99 or better after the convertor goes in. I have a vigilante 3500 on the way (birthday present from the wonderful wife).
