What do ya think of TPIS cams?

I am thinking about ordering the ZZ9 camshaft from TPIS, and was wondering if anyone that is using the cam, or any cam from this company, could tell me what they think about it? My car is a 1992 Z28 with 350 TPI. My combo is- AFR190 heads, SLP 1 3/4'' headers, ported upper plenum, Accel intake, SLP runners, gutted air box, 52mm throttle body, removed cats, and Flowmaster exhaust. Thanks for any help.

A lot of people have done well with them both in the 3rd and 4th gen cars. I'm not sure if TPIS makes their own cams from blanks or if they have Comp Cams or Crane make them specifically for their name but most of the grinds work well with what TPIS sells. I'd call them and tell them what you're doing, your goals, etc, and see what they reccomend. Same goes for other cam makers. They might know a little more than we do here

So..what's the car going to be used for?

The car is going to be used for mostly street, but some strip duty. I want a strong street car, so I dont get any surprises from the stangs. Kandied91Z, is that cam going to be streetable, and how much are you asking for it? Thanks.

i paid 375+shipping. i'd like to get 225 including shipping.
it's very streetable and with my own setup nets at least low 12's so it has potential to work. i need to remove it to bump compression.
