Re: LT1/LS1 Intake

My buddy did the Stealth Ram intake swap, it is a little pricey though in my opinion. I dont know how the gains compare to that of an LT-1 intake swap. Keep in mind some fabrication is in order to make an LT-1 work because your TPI has the top-mounted distributor where the LT-1's is mounted by the crank pulley in front. I dont think an LS-1 will work at all, they have a different style of heads, but I may be wrong, but I havent heard of this being done at least.

LT1 can be made to work. LS1 is composite, does not have coolant passages, no distributor hole, and is completely dimensionally different.

Check out LT1intake.com. I would go with the LT1 intake, good gains for a good price.
