on the drive home from the track my service engine light came on, i was LOW on oil, my dipstick was like, 1/3, really low, guess thats what happens when your rear main seal leaks oil like a ****....
I don't know the whole story (obviously) but before you start yanking the tranny to get to the rear main (if it's a 1-piece) make SURE you have checked the rear of the intake manifold. Mine was leaking a little oil down onto the trans and would drip just like a rear main seal would.

thnx, ill check for that tomorrow night when i work on the car some more....she's coming back together nicely, less then 3 hours of work left....damn it's alot easier to put back together then take apart
